Ingredients:

Sauce

60 gr tomato paste.  ( Recipe here tomato paste )
30 gram chicken stock paste or Vegetable Stock Paste in your Thermomix book
200 gr water
20 gr tamari sauce
20 gr butter
20 gr plain flour
1 onion halved
2-3 garlic cloves
200 gr mushrooms sliced
550 gram chicken breast sliced in strips (use 750g for TM5)
150 gr cream.

400g fettuccine or spaghetti pasta

 

Method

Into the bowl put in the halved onion and garlic cloves
Blitz for 3 seconds on speed 5
Scrape down the bowl and add in 20g butter
Cook for 2 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 1
Add in mushrooms, tamari Sauce, stock paste, water, flour , tomato paste and cook for 4 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 1
Add in chicken and cook for 7 minutes at 100 degrees on reverse speed soft
Add in cream and continue cooking for 3 minutes at 100 degrees on reverse speed soft
Pop stroganoff into a thermoserver and cook pasta in your thermomix – directions here

Serve with a good dollop of sour cream..

TIP: to make this dairy free  you could use a dairy free milk to make it “saucy” so you could make your own oat or rice or almond milk. Perhaps just use around 100grams and add some cornflour
