I have tried Yoghurt a couple of times but it didn’t really work out quite perfect. Most Yoghurt recipes are similar everyone does it a little differently.

This is what I came up with and it worked perfectly.

Place 1 Litre of Milk into the Thermomix

Heat for 35 minutes on speed 2 at 90 degrees

When finished remove the lid and place in the fridge

Allow to cool around 45 minsย  set your timer.

Turn on Thermomix and then place jug back on Thermomix and see what the temp is. If the 37degree light is there give it around 5 or so minutes and then add 75 g Greek natural plain yoghurt
Mix for 4 secs at speed 4

Heat for 10 mins on speed 1 at temp 37ย  degrees.

Whilst that is happening pour boiling water into your thermoserver place lid on and leave. Then empty when Yoghurt has finished its 10minutes and pour in the yoghurt.ย  Place lid on and set somewhere Warm to incubate. I used a thick small blanket and wrapped around. You could use Thermos’s or Esi Yo’s if you have them.

I left mine for 19 hours and it was perfect I then emptied into a tupperware container. I set aside a separate small Tupperware container with the starter for the next time. Using a clean spoon each time you get yoghurt out this should last 2-3 weeks “longevity wise” eating wise I doubt it will last a week for a family ๐Ÿ™‚

I made a Raspberry Coulis.

I used 200g raspberries (fresh or frozen)ย  20g sugar 20 g water 15/20 g lemon ( you could also use lime)
I then heated it for 5 minutes at 90 degrees on speed 2. I then allowed the coulis to cool and carefully stirred through

Now this might not be for everyone I don’t use a lot of sugar. I like more of a “tang”

I will be working on more flavors along the way and update this post as I do

If you try this recipe please let me know how you went.

Remember Patience is a Virtue especially in yoghurt making ๐Ÿ™‚
